The TL Hanna Jazz Band is a small group ensemble that develops musicianship and specific performance skills of the students through group and individual settings. The Jazz Band allows students to experience performances of various styles of instrumental jazz.

The TL Hanna Jazz Band is a very popular ensemble in the community of Anderson as well as around the state of South Carolina. The Jazz Band is divided into two separate ensembles; party band and festival jazz. The party band is opened up to all members of the TL Hanna Band Program and the festival jazz band is an auditioned band that performs separately for adjudicated events around the state and south east region. The Festival Jazz band consistently earns Superior ratings at the S.C. Jazz Adjudication Festival every year.
This ensemble rehearses on Wednesdays and Fridays from 4-6 PM.
