Color Guard is a combination of the use of flags, sabers, mock rifles, and other equipment, as well as dance and other interpretive movement. Color Guard is divided into two separate seasons that compete throughout the school year. In the fall, the color guard participates as part of the marching band program. That season begins during band camp in July and continues through the competitive season in November. After school rehearsals are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4-7 PM.
In the winter season, color guard shifts into Winter Guard and competes independently of the rest of the band. The season begins with rehearsals in November and continues through the competitive season in April. The winter guard rehearses on Tuesdays and Fridays after school.
